A Field Guide for the Transition from the Classroom to the Real World

Most college graduates leave school with knowledge, ambition, and a degree. What many don't have is a practical understanding of how careers are actually built, how organizations really work, and how to navigate the transition from the classroom to the real world.

In They Can't Eat You!, executive leader Rod Keller draws on more than four decades of experience leading organizations ranging from startups to multibillion-dollar global companies. Through stories, observations, and practical lessons, he shares the insights he wishes someone had given him at the beginning of his own career.

This is not a book about finding a job. It is a field guide for building a career, earning trust, making better decisions, understanding leadership, and navigating the realities of professional life.

Whether you're a college student, recent graduate, young professional, or the parent of someone entering the workforce, They Can't Eat You! provides practical wisdom that can help turn uncertainty into confidence and potential into opportunity.
